Session 1: Self Love and Energetic Elementals

This first session in the Eden Scholar Program will take students through the unique history of Tantra, the different ways of practicing it, and the basic principles of energy movement in and around the body. Using these academic foundations, the student and practitioner will delve into beginnings of breath work and body image exploration.

Session 2: Pelvic Heart Connection

Second in the series, students will expand on the basics learned in Session 1, and also touched on in a regular Experiential Session. The breath and pelvic practices taught here are aimed at opening important pathways between the root and heart, leading naturally into a discussion of polarities and Shiva/Shakti principles.

Session 3: Active & Passive Principles

This third session is designed to give students a clear understanding of the metaphysical principles that are essential to Tantric teachings. Beginning with lessons on conscious sexuality and the cosmic philosophies of dualism and integralism, practitioner and student will then move towards understanding how the concepts of chakras, kosas, and nadis function in the body. These foundations are brought to life in an intentional tantalizing at the end of the session.

Session 4: Tantric Relationships

Essential to incorporating Tantric practice into daily life is understanding how its principles relate to our most important relationships. This session addresses the meaning of loving relationships and the many practices, both solo and with a partner, that can help us enhance their positive impact in our lives.
